Office 365 Planner is a brand new web app integrated into the Office 365 platform which offers organizations a visual way to organize teamwork: creating new plans, organizing and assigning tasks, sharing files, chatting and getting updates on progresses.

Office 365 Planner bundles activities, social media, events and more. In the left side, you're able to add plans, which can be all kind of campaigns.
Notice the buttons on the top which allow to switch between board and charts. On the screenshot above you're able to see team member's tasks which they are assigned to and their progress.
Office 365 planner allows to communicate. Although this new tool seemingly is created for business purposes, it can also have advantages for education. Thinking about planning meetings and posting reports in your school. Making sure there is a better conversation and discussion between the schoolboard and teachers and between teachers themselves. Let's focus on collaboration: Planner can make file sharing and collaboration efficient. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents can be attached to Cards and edited collaboratively. There is even a OneNote integration! Wait... what's that sound? *cheering teachers*. Every plan has a OneNote notebook attached, which makes it easy for colleagues to collect and share ideas with each other.
